Interesting you mention the size requirements. Our pool is approx 16k gallons. I generally run the pump for 8 hours a night, and with a 25k gal generator, that might be about right? I could run it as little as 5.5 hours to turn the pool over for what thats worth.

Came home to the same conditions this afternoon, 0.5FC and 1 CC. Added three bottles of 10% to get back to shock level, and vacuumed and brushed. But yall, I can see my brush on the bottom of the shallow end. Thats a HUGE improvement over the past few days, and thats with it being overcast today.

Woke up this morning to 0.5 FC and 1 CC, which seems much better. Ill raise it back up to shock level and let it sit for the day and retest tonight.

Checked again just now, FC seems to be holding steady. Ill check it again before bed and adjust if needed, but hopefully it will remain high until the morning.

Think I broke the cycle. After 40 minutes, 6 bottles of 10% bleach, FC was 20, and CC didnt even register. I didnt add anything else and will retest in 20 minutes or so.

20 mins after a bleach and scrub, FC was back to 3 and CC was 20. Guess that answers that question...
