    Cleaning cartridges on CircuPool CJ2750

@pjt We have a 17,500 and was told that filter is for 34k so I *think* we should be good - thanks for the recommendation about skimmer hairnets. @mknauss Thanks for listing the specifics about filter pressure. I guess the filter comes with some kind of measurement gauge for that? We currently...

    Replace all equipment. Help!

Already did and the chart at the bottom of that page has check marks indicating "REQUIRES PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION". If it's voided or limited to 60 days only, I think we would prefer more. Thank you!

    Replace all equipment. Help!

I read about it here in the forums and people seem happy with it... I will be sure to read more about that. Pentair voids warranty if self-installed, right?

Can anyone with the CircuPool CJ2750 filter talk about experience? Mainly interested in how often the cartridge needs to be cleaned and how that process goes - fairly simple? Thanks!

    Replace all equipment. Help!

Requirements for the rebate are upgrade to an ENERGY STAR certified variable-speed pool pump and be installed by one of their participating service providers. The same service provider quoted me $1,350 for a Jandy CS250 (1 cartridge) and $2,250 for a Jandy CV580 (4 cartridges). I have heard a...

    Replace all equipment. Help!

Thanks for the detailed response. What's the reason to change to CPVC? - we might be interested in some kind of water heater in the future, if that helps. My husband says we need to change the entire black part(s) at the top of the filter, can't just replace the pressure gauge as it's damaged...

Hi everyone. Our Hayward SWG is a year old (installed by a company) but busted out due to low temperatures while we were away... and making me think it's time to replace everything! Our electricity company has a promo going on for $300 rebate on a pump (if installed by one of their recommended...

Thanks so much. We are out of town but will definitely respond with pump model next week. I am not sure how old it is but we have had the house for 5 years, just changed the sand this year for first time. I will read through the posts you shared. Thanks again!

Need advice on heater and automation

Hi everyone! We have a Hayward single speed pump, a Hayward SWG (I believe it's Aqua Rite), a timer for both and we want to get a heater and automation. I have the following questions: 1. We have a booster pump installed but no longer used as we recently switched from Polaris pressure cleaner...

How do i clean the filter?

Thats a good alternative i will keep in mind for the future, thanks for sharing. Any ideas when i should stop adding bleach and turn the swg back on? What cleaning do i have to do? As a reminder, it automatically shut off and lit up the check cell light because i added stabilizer to the skimmer.

How do i clean the filter?

We backwashed, vacuumed to waste, added cya and bleach everyday multiple times (yesterday was only once). It is looking so much better even though we have some more work to do. Could i clean the filter today? How is that done?

How do i clean the filter?

Just to update i keep backwashing and bruahing once a day, pump running 24x7, sock is hanging with a tiny bit of cya left, added bleach about 2-3x a day to keep at shock level.

How do i clean the filter?

The level is kind of at a minimum, i had to put more water in today. I wouldnt want to waste it if not necessary. I asked because i dont know if shocking it will take care of all that dirt at the bottom.
