Hey guys. I have a Jandy Aquapure EI for about 7 years now. First cell lasted like 5 years and no issue. Replaced it 2 years ago and no issue until when I opened the pool this year. Water is crystal clear and passed the overnight test without issue...been running it on chlorine last few days...

So if I just pull it all out, using a shop vac, how do I clean the sand? Wouldn't it still need to be cleaned? Should I just fill it with new sand?

Was fighting cloudy water for like 2-3 years now....was about to do a deep clean on the sand, but my father in law told me he thinks it might be undersized...cant find anything online for what size pools it is for.. I have a 16 x 34' pool with approx 20-22k gallons...thoughts?

Like maybe 1 foot...here are some more pics of where I am at. Still not sure how to disconnect the white pipe from the multi port....do I need to take the 6 screws off the top off?

Also, now I was trying to take it apart in the shed....and then move it out once I took the multi port off. Question is now, how do I get the white pipe disconnected from the multiport? Its really "sealed" in there...

So I was in the process of closing my pool, and figured I have never cleaned my sand filter (deep clean), in the 5 years I owned it, plus god knows what the previous owners did. I watched a few videos before attempting, and when I went to open the top, the Dang white pipe came out with it, and...

My pump just started leaking every so slightly a few days ago, but now its getting worse. It is leaking from the area I circled... Any idea what it could be? Can I fix this myself or do I need to replace the whole pump or can a pro repair this pump? Any info would be great, thanks!

Hey, when you replace a salt cell (I have a Jandy Aquapure Ei), is the main piece that makes the SWG turn salt to chlorine just the thin metal plates?? For example, lets say I need a new cell...what if I was to just take out the metal plates in the old unit and replace it with new metal pieces...

Are you sure? Why are the people telling me above its going to ruin my sand filter and make it gummy? I just added 3.5 oz slowly in the deep end of the pool and ran the filter for 24 hours (as per instructions)....so you're saying it wont ruin my filter?

Because the thought of taking off the pipes (that look to almost be glued in there)...and then moving the mammoth filter out of the pool shed and outside is a huge task its seems lol.. How easy/hard is it to reconnect those pipes? Its not something I can just twist off it seems...

Really? Like after 1 application..or if I continue to use it? If I backwash the filter, will that clean it up? Are you talking about clarifier...or floc? Floc is what you vacuum to waste....clarifier you dont have to I thought?
