I agree 100000%. I thought all along it was the plaster co. And their poor application. The owner of the plaster co. came out to look at the pool, after I sent numerous photos to my build builder ... He looked me straight in the eye and told me he thought it looked great for a Quartz finish...

Amanda, is that the primera stone? I am not sure my PB was intentionally up selling me. I think they thought it was a great finish. I am more baffled that Luna Quartz is on the market if they have so many issues with it.

The luna quartz looks awful. There is alot of scaring and mottling and the trowel marks are very visible. My pool looks 20 yo. My pool co. sold me this product as a great, premium finish. My previous pool was pebble tec. We explained we loved the look of it but not the feel of it as my kids...

My pool is currently 2.5 yo with a Luna Quartz finish. If it is to be re plastered with another finish, is it common practice to chip out old finish or to simply overlay? Thank you!

Thanks for replying. Well, the plaster co. who installed the Luna Quartz told me that. He told me it was the mediocre ... the "toyota" of pool finishes.

Hello. I have 3 Intellibrites in the pool/spa. They are 15 months old. We have used them ~ 550 hrs. On one of the lights, the red color is out. Any thoughts on this? Is this normal for intellibrites? Thanks so much.

Well, my hope is that they either come out and replace this commercial grade meter with a reg. 2 lb meter or they stop charging the extra fee for having a commercial meter. If not then i will pay to get the reg. meter put back. This bill "was only" 25 dollars more but we had not even heated...

So we signed our contract with Encore and should start the build in the next couple weeks. Here are some pool pics. Specs: 35x24, ~24,000 gal, 7' round spa, 3.5 ft - 8ft, 4 ton waterfall. We also are having the fire pit and an indoor kitchen put in. Super happy with it :)
