Why is water dripping/spewing out after backwash?

I re-added the picture! Yes, it is the backwash to sewer pipe. The MPV is fully set to filter. The MPV is original to the system (made it through the 2021 freeze). The flow of water coming out of the pipe is variable. Right now its a small stream, but sometimes its a heavier stream and sometimes...

Why is water dripping/spewing out after backwash?

Cleaned my DE filters and backwashed 2 weeks ago, and this pipe has been constantly dripping/streaming/spurting water ever since. I don't know what the technical term is for this pipe, so I couldn't search. What could I have missed after I backwashed? Thanks!

    Suggestion for TPB at TFP

Is there any way we can get a line on our profile page that reminds us when we last made a donation? I'd like to make it an annual thing, and it would be easier for me to have that date readily available. Thanks!!

Not new to pool ownership but new to this pool

I'll add my .02 and say stay away from Jandy. The guy who works on my equipment said that they loved installing Jandy SWG because of all the maintenance calls they would get $$$. They certainly got a lot of my money until I switched it for a circupool!

Just got TF-100 Kit and here are my results. Please advise on what i need to add/do to change my levels

No, the test (K-1000) for ph is the standard here. You just want to match the tone, not the exact color (in other words, is your test sample yellow, orange, coral, pink or red? Use whatever number corresponds to the tone).

    Sun Shelf/Tanning Ledge Size ???

Our tanning shelf rarely gets used. Almost everyone floats or swims. More play/float area is always good, imo.

    Filter Sand accumulating in Pool

I sure hope OP reads your reply and doesn't try to wait it out. I get worried about that kind of stuff. Filters can be scary.

Hey Texas, just asking for curiosity's sake--could that pinhole compromise the filter to a degree that it explodes?

    Confused!

Trust these kind folks. The test kit is absolutely essential to getting your pool clean and clear. It might seem complicated/expensive/time consuming, but in reality, you will be totally in control of your pool and know what is going into it and what the effects are. And it's super easy to test...

No chlorine after adding an entire gallon yesterday?? Help please

And don't be scared about that price tag--the amount of money you will save NOT GOING TO THE POOL STORE will quickly make up for that upfront cost. I just got a speed stir yesterday and used it for the first time today (after 11 years of manual swirling) and everyone here is right about that...

Help with SLAM - water clarity after algae

    Cloudy & Green

You can ABSOLUTELY do this. I'm an idiot when it comes to chemistry, so if I can do it, anyone can. Just work on that patience thing in the meantime--a real SLAM takes a bit of it, but once it's done, you will be so smart about your pool :D

    Just Getting Started from AZ

Just my opinion, but the quote doesn't seem too unreasonable, if he is as good as everyone around you says he is. I would rather pay to have someone do it right, than to have a cheapo shady person mess with my pool! The pump alone is pricey, but that seems to be the case these days...

    Jandy old backboard HELP

I had an old Jandy Aquapure (2010) that I struggled with from the first year on. I finally replaced the whole thing with a Circupool. Sure, it doesn't work with my automation, but it's not a big deal to walk out to the pad and check output every week. The Circupool 7 year warranty really helped...
