does anyone make AGP Robots with swivel cords

I'm researching for a replacement for my aquabot pura4xt. Does anyone know of a AGP robot that comes with a swivel cord? It appears that none of the Dolphin line AGP cleaners do. Thanks in advance!

    Temperature Gain

Thanks Yev. I'm good to go with pool temperature, not really looking for a way to heat it at all. Was simply pontificating as to if a pool gains more heat in direct sunlight while circulating or not. The answer could also help in the height of the summer heat when trying to keep the pool a...

    Temperature Gain

Re: Temperature Gain\Loss Thanks Yev! That makes a lot of sense, I've definitely felt the temperature difference you describe. You're probably right that I'm over simplifying the factors in play here. I'd imagine that there is heat gain from the pump as well.

    Temperature Gain

In direct sunlight, will a pool gain heat faster with the water circulating or not? Assuming the ambient temperature is higher than the water temperature. If it's circulating, more water is exchanged with the air... but I'd think it's harder for the sun to have a radiant effect on temperature...

    Landscaping around AGP

+1 this is what I used. It's easy on my kids feet as well when they have to run out to pick up pool toys that escaped from the pool.

    Aquabot Pura 4XT Timelapse

I bought this a couple weeks ago. Decided it was worth it to me to buy a dealer only model for the extra warranty and local service. It would have helped me in deciding on which robot to buy if I could have seen a timelapse video of a few different models to see how they work.... so in the event...

    Question re stir stick

I just did the same thing, and with the same result. Definitely closer to the 11.5ml line in the cylinder that came with the speed stir.

Filter Flush - Contains Sodium Bisulfate

Thanks Richard. Could be, the physical description in the MSDS you posted says red to purple granular. This is red granular. Other than that the bottle doesn't give me any other hints.

Filter Flush - Contains Sodium Bisulfate

Bought a product to clean my DE Filter Fingers, it's sold at the pool store as Filter Flush. It has "unique tracer dye", "simplifies use". I suppose this helps when you rinse it to ensure you've rinsed thoroughly. Instructions are to mix 2.5 lbs with 5 gal of water and soak for 12-24 hours...

    Lowering Water Level - Plumbing

I had siphoned with a garden hose, didn't think to try a vacuum hose. Thanks for the suggestion... If the pool water level is above-ground you can use your vacuum as a siphon. To do this, simply, hook up your vacuum with the pump running and the vacuum in the water, disconnect the vacuum...

    Lowering Water Level - Plumbing

Assumption correct, no bottom drain. And the EC40 Perflex doesn't have a multi-port valve. I like the your idea of the system not being reliant on the filter pump, safer to drain the pool with the pump off. Thanks! - - - Updated - - - Good point, a simple task of lowering the water level...

    Supporting PVC

I'm looking for some inspiration for supporting PVC suction and return lines for my Above Ground. Pictures would be a big help. Thanks in advance! The suction line will be about 9' and the return will be about 7'. Wanting to see what you, the experts, are doing.

    Lowering Water Level - Plumbing

I'm switching over to hard plumbing this season, and am wondering if others have solved this before me. Usually, after rain I've lowered the water level back down using a submersible cover pump and hose. In my area, we received lots of rain last year resulting in me dragging out the hose...

New pool owner - 1st Opening, 2nd Swim Season

Hello from Pennsylvania. I've been searching and reading here for a while now and finally decided to join. I'm looking forward to learning even more now that I can post up some questions. When we bought our house it had an intex ultra frame pool at the end of our 1,500 sqft deck. We bought in...
