The water is clear. That's why this is blowing my mind. It has not ever been anything but clear.

Please don't be offended and its not that I don't trust the info but water is crystal-clear. I would like to post a picture so you see what I see and then maybe you will be scratching your head like I about the shocking of the pool.

Bleach

Due to fc loss overnight I will be shocking my pool. The question is what will the water do during this time? It is already clear and I could read a book that was setting in the bottom of the pool if needed. Will the shock cloud up the water?

My kids are going to be crushed. They just got to their dads for the summer and have been practically sleeping in the pool. Hopefully I can shock it tonight and be back in business by the weekend.

At what level is it safe to swim while shocking the pool?

Well this stinks FC is at 3.5 this morning from 6 last night Do I have to shock or can I try to control the problem? Will it eventually go away or get worse.

pH is up 7.3 Clorine was at zero added bleach CYA is 60, I am wondering if I done the test correctly yesterday since it dropped so much...

what problems will I have with the running that high? Do I need to replace some water?

No SWG, will cholrinate with bleach.

according to the estimator on pool calculator I am around 35K gallons
