New cell does not show salt level.

The number is still locked at 4700. It will not go down during calibration. I have seen posts with the same issue.

New cell does not show salt level.

Thank you for your help. I removed water, added some. The salt digital reading in the pool is 3550. The salt level was at 4400 on the ARite screen , jumped to 4700 when I tried to calibrate, using super chrorinate switch and bring down the numbers to 3550. Other numbers: 72 24.3 7.25 85 No...

New cell does not show salt level.

I installed a Circupool Gen-15 cell to replace my dead Aquarite-Rite T15 cell. It had been working fine with a knock-off board for many years. These are the readings: -4.80 88-4 r8.80 3.50 22 24.9 7.75 100P Generating light on check salt and check cell are off.

I guess I had it with AquaRite. Recommendation for a different cell.

Thank you for the answers. I was told the issues were certainly created by bad rectifiers under the transformer. No automation.

I guess I had it with AquaRite. Recommendation for a different cell.

Between the replacements of the Thermistor, the new boards, now it's the burn of the Molex 10 pin part with the same issue on the connector on the cell. I will not be able to solder this thing myself even if I ordered both parts. What would be the best option for a 27000 gallon pool?

Is the cell bad on my Aquarite? Zero salt.

I sent the board to be looked at. It's bad and needs to be replaced. This one was 15 years old. AQ-RITE 5A0603-1031935. I guess I need to go from r.1.40 to this one: https://poolguysupply.com/products/pcb-h-aqr

Is the cell bad on my Aquarite? Zero salt.

One year old. S/N:25AA5DHWE2130248 Salinity tested at Leslie s pool and with Aquachek tests. The same results all year long. The Thermistor looks OK. Would need to install a new one to be sure.

Small piles of dead algae back in system through jets.

2.1 ppm of Free chlorine with such a high CYA level is not great. Is it OK to have the cell output on 100%? I remember running it as high, not knowing what was the best option. The CYA level was in the 40/50s.

Small piles of dead algae back in system through jets.

My mistake. It's a T-15. The pump runs for 8 hours. Remove some water and add more to lower CYA. I used account details.

Small piles of dead algae back in system through jets.

Thank you Allen. Pool is 27,000 gallons. I will add muriatic acid to lower PH, have been using extra chlorine. I have read that CYA 80 is OK for hot summers in Houston. Do I need to push output on cell to produce more chlorine? Or remove water? I entered all info in my signature, I don't see...

Small piles of dead algae back in system through jets.

I have been brushing the pool with light algae but it seems that some are back at the bottom through jets. I vacuum it in the deep end using a canister with a bag, but I guess some is not stopped by the grids during the day. They might need be replaced. No DE comes out after backwash. What...

I don't know why it's AL-5. It used to be AL-2. No Jandy system.

Pool was just replastered, bumps around jets and poor finish under tiles

Hello, Some pictures from the pool which looks pretty nice with water. I contacted the woman in charge Monday morning, describing the poor job done by the crew, she said everything was supposed to be fine and I had to brush the pool. When I asked her if the people who worked on site were part...

Pool was just replastered, bumps around jets and poor finish under tiles

Good point Zea3. They just hammered the pool moving inch by inch. As far as I remember, the plaster around this jet before was pretty flat to me. I used a scuba tank in this pool quite often and I am familiar with it. Most of the estimates that I received were pointing to this approach. A...

Pool was just replastered, bumps around jets and poor finish under tiles

The light has been removed and they plastered the hole. I found another bump close to the three steps in the wall going to the metal ladder. Brilliant idea to use HomeAdvisor and choose a company with great feedback! Thank you Sir.

Pool was just replastered, bumps around jets and poor finish under tiles

The bumps are really hard solid. Is it possible to sand area to get it flat? Poor job under the tiles for sure. Do I still need to fill up the pool? I need to contact them in the morning, they are expecting me to pay the other half! Thank you.

Pool was just replastered, bumps around jets and poor finish under tiles

Filling up the pool and noticed big bumps around jet, not flat at all. Normal? In the deep end (10ft), it seems that it was not easy to reach the bottom of tiles and create a nice line as opposed to other areas of pool. Far more plaster on the left side and poor finish on right. Can they sand...
