Finished painting this morning, other than a few small details, this project is done. A ton of hard work and 14 months later the transformation is complete. I'm ecstatic!!

The temp is why I did it. Nice and cool even when it's 102 outside. I'm thinking the whole job is going to take about 17-20 gallons.

So here is the first color test. This is called linen, it is off white. I am tired of gray and want to see if this color is less hot on the feet. What do you think?

So here is where we are now. All the fill in is done. I have formed the last three sections and hope to pour them this week.

Thanks for the nice compliments. It was definitely a labor of love. It was way more difficult than I thought it would be but totally worth it now. We are still in the finish up phase so it will change for the better over the summer. I will post more pics as we complete things.

I back-filled with the dirt that I dug out. I will let it settle all winter and then pour concrete next spring. Doesn't appear to be any leaks anywhere.
