Tahoe is darker. If you pull up a picture of Lake Tahoe in full sun it will look just like it. Be aware it does have a slight shade of green. You should be happy with tahoe.

The skimmer does work fine for the big stuff. In AZ, they put a skimmer sock on to catch the smaller stuff. They work fine but are generally a pain to maintain. Ive also never seen one without a suction line also attached but not usually on.

sounds like a suction leak. If the nav. is older than the 2 months you have been in the house check the hoses for leaks. It could be sucking air thru a crack in the hose. If not there then stand by the pump and have someone turn it off while you watch the pump and see if any water squirts or...

Dont make any drastic changes to your pool after a rain for a few days. the pool will take a few days for the aeration (co2) to gas off and it will settle back out. It might change some, but just wait a few days.

Your Solar company will have everything you should need and know how to present it to the HOA. this is a regular battle for them.
