Replaced the flow switch and all is good again, thanks for the help.

Cleaned and checked the unit this morning, the switch is still there but now thinking the sensor is bad. Ordered a new one that will be here tomorrow so fingers crossed that will fix the issue.

Returns are flowing and this video was taken after the cleaning cycle was going for roughly 30 mins. Normally they flash like that for 5 mins or so.

Here are screen shots from the video. The top two lights flash back and forth between the two. The third light is staying solid red.

Lol dam autocorrect, fixed now.

What's your target FC with a SWG?

Water is crystal clear so maybe I'll try the oclt test first. I have some liquid CYA on its way so hopefully that will fix the issue.

I must have something in the water as I loose way too much FC. The water looks good but there is too much loss. I,m going to SLAM and then hopefully my SWG will be able to keep up with daily demands.

Trying to figure out the gpm for my pump. In the manual there is a chart but I can't figure out how to properly read it. I run my pump at 1,700 rpm for circulation, 3,100 rpm for the cleaner and 2,300 for our spa spillway. Here is the chart for reference. Thanks for any help!

That's what I normally do, you are right it takes too long to jump the FC quickly using the SWG. Thanks!

OK thanks, I ordered two gallons of stabilizer so I'll slowing bring the CYA up. I'm having to run my SWG at 100% now so it will be nice to drop it down to maybe 60% . Should I target a FC at 4 normally?

Oh and the test kit is the TF-100.

Well I added roughly 1/4 cup of dawn dish soap this morning once the pump shut down. Fingers crossed that I come home to dead bugs. From the looks of it I have both Boatmen and backswimmers, ?

I need to run a full water test to double check now that the rain is officially gone. I heard from some pool maintenance guys that a couple of squirts of dawn dish soap will get rid of them as it removes the surface tension and they will drown. Anyone have success with that?

I have those pesky bugs that look like they have two legs in my pool and don't know how to get rid of them. When I use the net to get them out they just fly back in by the next morning. Any tips on how to get rid of them? Thanks!
