    We are in the same situation. What kind of paint and acid are you using? We were told to use muriatic acid, but not sure about paint. Any suggestions?

    Thanks, Jason. I just put the Pool Calculator on my iphone and I love it!! But, I can not figure out how to set up my target goal. I put the target on 6.0 and it still shows that Goal: Not Setup. Can you help with that? Ruth

    Got in the pool today, it looks amazing! We also have a spa/hot tub, can these same principles be used on a spa? It is a Dimensions One Diplomat and contains 350 gallons. We have been using the spa products that the pool store tells us to use, it is not baquacil, but it is a chlorine free spa. Ruth

    Re: Converting Soon I recently converted from Baquacil, my pool is approximately 17,800 gallons, and I used 96 gallons of bleach for the entire process. It is totally worth the conversion, but it is a process, not an overnight project. Ruth

    I have two test kits to test the PH and just used the other one since there is he discrepancy. The second one looks more like 6.8, so I will aerate.

    This evening FC 4 CC .5 TC 4.5 PH 7.2 TA 120 Looks like the TA is coming down nicely. I will get some more Muriatic Acid tomorrow to try and lower it even more, unless you all tell me otherwise.

    We bought a Vogue AGP 18 x 33 last July and paid $7768.50 (that included tax) and then $1425 for installation. We thought that was a good deal. They threw in some extras here and there as we bought our Dimension One spa from them two years before. Hope this helps, we love our pool! Even more...
