    High Phosphate

    My pool looks great. Total Chl is -1.2 Ph 7.4 but my pool dealer's test came back as High phosphate. They recommend a Phosphate remover. What do you think?

    Hayward 2030 when to clean?

    I opened my pool almost two months ago. The filter pressure has gone up some in the last two months but not much past the 10 psi mark. Pool looks great; FC a bit high but all other signs nominal. No trees or yard debris around. When should I clean the cartridges (4)?

    TA still low

    Pool looks great. Water temp is high this time of yr in the VI's (86 deg). FC and TC fine 3.5ppm pH fine 7.6 but TA always seems to be low 50-70ppm. Have added TA+ but I'm hesitant to add more Baking soda for fear my pH will skyrocket. Any thoughts?

    Hayward 2030 filter clamp

    The Hayward operator's manual suggest a 130lb torque on the clamp nut. I have the clamp tight but no where near 130lb torque. No leaking but should I keep tightening clamp? Brand new filter.

    Lorenz solar Pump

    I have a Lorenz solar powered pump with first stage filter built in and a Hayward 2030 cartridge filter. I love my pump but was wondering is any FTP members also have a Lorenz pump?
