Noisy Pentair Whisperflo. Even after I changed the bearings.

Near the end of last year pool season (3rd season of pool) my Pentair Whisperflo started to get noisy. I researched and it seemed like the resolution would be to replace the bearings. Welp, I just replaced the bearings today and the noise remains. I took a video hoping someone else may have...

    CompuPool CPSC discontinued

With the existing CompuPool CPSC series discontinued, I'm interested if anyone has any info on the replacement model. CompuPool said they are available or will be shortly to their Distributors/Installers only and not to general public yet. If anyone has info....care to share?

    Compupool CPSC48 cell install

Heya, Anyone know if there is anything wrong with installing the SWG cell directly on 90 degree elbows (see attached picture)? It will sure look better this way. Just wondering if there is some straight-run pipe requirements before entering the cell. Peace.

    Compupool CPSC48 internal breaker

Opened my CPSC48 to install the longer cell cord and noticed the brown wires for the internal circuit breaker were not both connected. One brown wire is connected to J7 and the other is just dangling free. Anyone know which jumper the 2nd brown wire goes? Thanks

    Compupool CPSC48 longer cell cord

About to install my CPSC48. I ordered the 15 foot cell cord with it, since the 6 footer is far too short for my install. The 15 foot cord came separate. I figured, no biggie, turn a few screws and attach the longer call cable. Welp, the cell cord is soldered to the system board. So, I need to...

Has anyone had luck with the CompuPool CPSC48?

Has anyone had luck with the CompuPool CPSC48? I bought one, but haven't installed it yet. All I seem to read about these (after purchasing) is: 1. Inaccurate temp/salt readings. Why? 2. Need to recalibrate. Why? 3. Their website claims a much higher output than it actually does. I should...

Compupool CPSC48...how much chlorine does it produce?

Having a 40k gallon pool built and nearly complete. The Compupool CPSC48 says it's ok for up to 60k gallons. I am seeing inconsistent output ratings on this unit. Ranging from 1.2 to 2.5 lbs/day. Anyone having success with this unit on a 40k gallon pool? Thanks.

Stainless Steel Light Niche with Saltwater Chlorinator pool?

I noticed the pool builder is using Pentair Stainless Steel light niches for my new pool build. They haven't installed them yet, but I wanted to check here to see if this is a bad idea since I will have a saltwater chlorinator too. The part#'s are Pentair 78232500. Thanks!

    Pool fence

Aluminum fence. Our last house had a Jerith Windsor aluminum fence that had 8' sections 60 inches tall. The posts were in 4 feet of concrete to get below the frost line here in Massachusetts. The fence served it's purpose and looked great, but the underside of the horizontal rails was a favorite...

SR Smith Salt Stand with 8' Frontier III

Heya, Our last pool had an SR Smith 8' Frontier III with metal Cantilever Jump Stand. With the salt water, the stand was a battle to keep the rust at bay. So, the pool at our new house....we are getting the same setup, but with the Salt Stand. I presume this is a composite covered stand of...

DE vs SandFilter with glass media?

We recently moved and had a 36K gallon pool with Hayward DE ProGrid 60 cu/ft at our previous home. We are building a pool at our new house, 36k gallons as well. The selected pool builder left the option open for filter selection. Pentair 36" diameter sand filter with glass media, which he...
