Tfp says no tablets What would be wrong with non stabilized chlorine tablets. What say you..?

Has anyone ever used a float plate underneath the vac mate skimmer basket in order to suck water from the main drain, vacuum and skimmer simultaneously…? Or is there usually not enough suction to do that and make everything effective? Thanks

They’ve been here since I’ve lived in this house for 6 years. It is a pebble tec pool. They’ve never gotten worse or better(did acid wash 2 months ago)

Like the title says. all tests are kept in range and pool looks great.

When is it good to use a filter bag? -Only when troubleshooting -always -never -randomly -when storms are on the way Thoughts? Way back in the day when I went to the pool store (are those still around?), the clerk said don’t use it in your filter basket as it could get sucked into the impeller…

Hayward 500# sand filter. Clean psi. Is 10 (16 if running through heater). Slowly worked up to 3 cups of DE and still at 10psi. Should I keep going? It’s been about 2 hours since.

I’ve heard to run it through the hottest part of the day as the action of the water makes the chlorine last longer? On average how many hours per day? Thanks

Seems I’m averaging about 3/4-1 gallon of chlorine (10%) everyday to maintain my 4-8ppm. Pool looks great. Sound right?
