Pebblefina Start up and new pool start up

Hi Everyone, I have been working to get my chemicals stable. My PH is ranging from 7.1 to 8.0. I have been adjusting with Muriatic ACID. AK has been between 70 and 90 although today it dipped and it was around 69. I will be adding Baking soda tonight. MY CA has been pretty stable but today it...

    Last min decision on startup

I read the startup procedures on here as well as pebble fina instructions. Tomorrow Pebblefina goes in and water shortly after. The pool company that plumbed it wants $3500.00 to do the startup. Is this something I can do or should I just pay the $3,500.00? I ordered the test kits but they have...

    Question on Plumbing

It looks like the plumber plumbed the system with ball valves. We have two pumps, Bubblers, 3 skimmers, and 4 returns, and heater. Does it make a difference whether I have diverter valves? @ajw22

We were thinking of doing the whole 9 inches in glass on the tanning ledge and also wanted to figure something on the deep end swim out. I also know because of the automatic closer opening which is 5 inches the 1...

Cover Pools VS Cover Star automatic closer

Does anyone know which one is better or had experience with either? I know Cover Star uses rope whereas the Cover Pool uses aluminum which is less likely to wear. Anything else?

Quick question, our contractor has scheduled the gunite for later this week. I asked him about not seeing any of the LED lights. He mentioned he just puts pvc where the lights will go and puts them in later. I was reading that the Hayward Colorlogic 320 come with a cap so it can be roughed in...

I did some of the calculators and so on. I came up with somewhere between 39,000 and 46000 gallons. The difference not...
