Brace a fiberglass pool for repair??

We have some cracks and bulging in our fiberglass pool--our pool contractor said that a Viking manufacturer rep. will be in next Tuesday. He told us to drain the the water down and to brace the pool with 2x4s so the rep. could take a look at the pool damage. We have no idea how to do this--I...

Fiberglass pool crack--could it be leaking?

We have a Viking fiberglass pool--when we went to check on the water level under the winter cover we discovered it was really low. I knew something was up, because we usually have to pump several times during the winter with the rain and snow. We added water and we figure it's losing about 3-4...

I was waiting for us to finish the shade garden landscaping, but with the heat it may be awhile. So I'm showing you our pool anyway. It was installed late last summer and we've spent most of the spring getting the landscape finished. It's a Viking Baja with a sapphire blue finish. I...

How much water loss will a small drip cause?

We have a small drip leak at the base of our heater. Not a constant run, but a steady drip. Last night at around 5:00 I marked the water level and this morning at 8:30, the level had dropped to just under an 1/2". Could a small drip cause this much loss? Luckily my heater is under warranty...

Newbie needs help--Don't want to call PB again!

Today was the first day I tried to vacuum myself, well of course I would run into problems. When I feel the vacuum there is all kinds of suction, but when I try to vacuum in the pool it will not pick up anything. I keep checking and I feel suction, but it won't work when Iplace in the bottom...
