    Help! new electric box installed, pump not as powerfull

    I had an old electric box and upgraded the box to a new one. Now my pool pump does not have the same humming noise, it seems that it is pulling less water. In addition, the pump itself seems to be running hot. Any ideas?

    Is there a diffrence between TA and alkalinity?

    I just had Pebble tec installed, and the instructions are to keep alkalinity bellow 70 during the first 72 hours. I used 2 gal of muriatic acid to bring TA to 120 and PH 7.2. The instructions say " lower the alkalinity..." not "lower TA..." 27K gal pool.

    I need to make up my mind about the finish of my pool. My deadline is tomorrow for next Wed. install. I am in VA and Wilcoxon will intall the finish. I selected Sky Blue on Pebbletec, but my housband likes Cool Blue Pebblesheen. :whoot:

    Diamond Bright or ColorScapes for aggregate plaser? Temp?

    My gunite pool is ready to be replastered, I have 2 quotes one for Diamond Bright, 1yr warranty about 9K, the other ColorScapes, 7 yr warranty, about 8k. Pool is 18 x 36. Is one plaster better then the other? Here in VA temps are going to be 95 to 100 next week. Shouls I hold until gets cooler? :?:
