I've got this very fine silt like dirt that gets by the filter and robot filters. I've even inserted filter bags on my skimmer basket to try to capture it. No luck so far. I'm pretty anal about keeping the water clean. Any one else get this type of un-filterable material?

Anyone have problems with this unit failing to operate?. Or where I can get him evaluated? Or find spare parts? I have only used for two seasons and now he has stopped moving. Odd that a motor would fail this early. I kept him stored indoors during non seasonal pool operations.

Is it OK to let your water level creep above the skimmer box opening? I don't seem to have a problem bringing in surface debris into the box at this water height so I'm not real sure. Look for a group concenus on this Thanks

I got two 100watt lights. Lights the pool up nicely. However, I have noticed the seal leaking on both. I cranked both tighter but the leak persisted. The water blew two light bulbs out. Not sure where to find replacements. Smartpool said Ebay and Amazon, part number NLK8, but searching both...

Once the pool is full, what is the first thing I need to do to get my pool balanced before I start up my Hayward SWG? Can someone point me to a guide perhaps? My pool stats are in my signature. I'm using city water to fill pool. Then I don't know what to do next.

See my signature for my filtration product names. Does a salt water pool require backwashing that has a Hayward cartridge unit? I don't see any lever like mechanism device around my pump (like I see on sand filter pools) that allow for backwashing.
