Since its getting cold, I was wondering if I wanted to put the cover on my pool and reopen it in 5 months or so, would I have to drain the whole pool to clean it or just add lots of chlorine and backwashing?

Why would PH go down, and would adding too much bleach/chlorine decrease the PH level? Is it better to have higher PH or lower PH?

Does adding bleach increase CYA levels? I read that DiChlor does, was wondering if bleach did too.
