My math put me around 104kwh daily average for my 119,000btu Raypak HP and Jandy 2.7hp vsp running 24/7@ 2100rpm. I'm at .9kwh so that cost me $350 for the month of April to have my pool water 80-91degs

I can only answer this. The salt water feel, imho, is worth the cost of the swg. After swimming all last summer and getting out feeling like a desert lizard.... the salt water feels like getting outta spring water.

Just installed a HP 2 weeks ago. I did not know this and assumed it needed a GFCI. Mine has a 60amp GFCI looking at it.

My woodwind is basically a new machine because I've replaced a lot of parts. That is the nice thing about going cheap, you can keep them alive by buying cheap parts on amazon. I've replaced the controller, auger motor, fan, temp sensor. It's not ideal but it works.

IMHO.... if my Woodwind ever dies, I've brought it back from the grave 3 times. I feel as if these folks make the best pellet grill and they will be who gets my money. My in laws have one and they haven't had a single hiccup for the numerus years they've owned it. It's a beast...

Maybe they are telling me something. Maybe I should look up bee keeping. My observation is they are after they heat. I find a few in the pool but not much. But they seem to be drawn to what little heat is escaping from the tub. That and the water.

Who here is fighting bees getting in/around your tub? It happens every spring. Wife went out today and got medieval with some peppermint oil. TBD If this happens to you, what's your tactic? It's got a brand new lid, but they can find the smallest crack. I have bees in the water and swarming...
