Thank you. Every time I look into variable speed it gets complicated and I just forget it. My cost of electricity at night in Arizona is pennies and I also have floor pop ups.
Hey Guys, I run my pump 4 hours in the spring and 7 hours during the hottest summer. I have floor vac and pop ups. I may be wrong but I don't see a variable speed pump benefiting me much. Is there a more efficient single speed pump that what I currently have. Thank you!
I don't get how a VS pump would help me. I think I need full speed to run my pop ups and floor vacs. If I run for 8 hours and night full speed, what schedule would I run on a VS that would save me enough money to warrant the expense. I can replace my motor for $175 locally in AZ. Appreciate...
My pump is 15 years old and I am wanting to plan for a replacement. I like this pump as it is fuss free. It just runs great. I only need to run 7 hours at night during cheap electricity and my pool stays clear. It runs my pop ups fine. Are there other fuss free options out there. Thank you
Thanks so much Jim. I had purged the air. I did it again, and still when I shut off pump, it goes sssspppp for a second and shoots out water. I also notice the cover is turning on and off much easier that in years prior. Not sure if these wear. I don't see any cracks.
Hey Guy, when my pump shuts off, it burps water out from under the cover. I thought it was the gasket, so I cleaned overthing up, added new rubber gasket, covered in lube and no change. Still burps out water.
