What size pipe to plumb my pool and spa?

So for any readers, on my system (see pics above) there is hardly a noticeable difference in force when I open the passive air control valves on the spa rim. There is a great increase in force however when I turn on the blower. So glad I put in the blowers.

What size pipe to plumb my pool and spa?

How deep do my 2" return and suction lines have to be buried under the pool deck in southern Calif? I will reuse the concrete pieces I busted out from the old deck plus mortar, like a flagstone deck, for the deck.

What size pipe to plumb my pool and spa?

Sorry for the confusion, Mark:-) I can see how it can be confusing. The airline (air control valve) at the top of the spa lets air in if I unscrew the valve. So I would only do that if the blowers were off and I just wanted passive air. (I close the a c valves when using the blower.) That's...

above or below ground for spa blower air hose install

Hey, thanks. Mark answered on my big thread in under construction and said it didn't matter and he's right because I filled it up and tried it with hoses above ground.

What size pipe to plumb my pool and spa?

Thanks, and that's good to hear because I glued it in up high, even though the line I was asking about is the top one off the air control valve and that looks like the tape came loose that was holding it and it slipped down in the second 2 pics. The first pic shows where those two air lines...

above or below ground for spa blower air hose install

Hi Spa installers, (this is also posted on my "what size pipe" thread in Under Construction forum) When installing blower air lines around an inground spa does it matter if they are above ground level or below (buried in dirt, rather than above the dirt. If above the dirt they would be running...

What size pipe to plumb my pool and spa?

Thanks Mark. Now another question for anyone: When installing blower air lines around an inground spa does it matter if they are above ground level or below (buried in dirt, rather than above the dirt. If above the dirt they would be running close to the fiberglass spa outside wall but...

    Plumbing question - returns

The hose coming off the side of the top T is the blower air inlet and straight up is the air control valve. Not all done yet but looking forward to seeing how it works. If the blower doesn't let air through when off and the air control valve shuts tight it should be no problem.

Freerider, I am plumbing both air control valves and blowers (2 blowers, one for foot and seat holes and one for side jets, and two air control valves). I will describe one side of the spa: I connected the air control valve's 1" pipe going down through the top edge of the spa (screw type...

Calling all spa builders with experience with old time jets like this: How do you attach the air line to the air vent on the top of the jet housing. What goes in that hole that a hose would attach to? (The hole is about the same diameter as the od of a 1/2" pvc conduit pipe.)

What size pipe to plumb my pool and spa?

From reading posts it seemed the idea was to make sure there is no cavitation by balancing the return and suction, or one size bigger on the suction just to make sure.
