Water draining from spa every day

Sorry a little confused. How does your 3 way valve turn if your pump is off ? I tried your approach. This is the way it is normally set. Adds water to the spa when the pump is running. If I turn it to the opposite direction it then takes water out of the spa. If I go right or left (45 degrees)...

The pic on the right - I turned that 90 degrees as you suggested ( it was originally had the off facing the spa so it is now opposite) The other one - that is as far as I can go. It does not turn any further. I tried filling the spa with the hose but it did not seem to adding much water? Almost...

H Yes, this is dropping quickly and going to the jet level. Seems all the water from the spa is going straight into the pool, which is almost overflowing now

Water draining from spa every day

I have now stopped the hose. It did not really go much higher but it is a little higher than normal as the pump finished about an hour ago. I will watch and see if it goes down to its normal level

Water draining from spa every day

This is what I have now. I am unable to turn the valve anymore where the check valve is. I am filling the spa but it is not going up. I don't know if this is the settings I have or something going on with the spa drain

Something is not right here with the valves here. I'm hiding the spa but the water level is not rising. Do I have valves set correctly.

Water draining from spa every day

Sorry to sound ignorant but I don't understand but.... If my spa is empty and the pump is off and I will up my spa with a hose, and 2 hours later the spa is empty again (pump has never come on) why would that have anything to do with valves, or anything to do with the pump area?

Water draining from spa every day

Thanks. The spa suction is already in the off position, it is always in this position. So do you want to turn the lever so the off is now facing the skimmer?

Water draining from spa every day

Just wanted to give you an update. Expect for the odd day on the weekend when the spa did not go down, it has been going down each day since. I did look at the 3 way valve in Sunday but did not see anything unusual. When I got home from work today with the spa level down again, after the pump...

Water draining from spa every day

You not going to believe this. This morning I wake up and the spa level has not gone down ?? (Pump ran last night). I have no idea what is going on here. This has happened in the past where it would go down erratically. I will still work on things on Sunday - perhaps it is some debris somewhere...

Water draining from spa every day

Thanks, will do. I just heard back from the pool tech that had initially installed the check valve and advised me to run that test last night for the check valve. His advice, and I quote... "Sounds like the Jandy valve in front of the pump is leaking. You can remove the 8 screws in the lid and...

Water draining from spa every day

I think the timing of our responses is getting me confused. This is the part u mean - yes, the spa side is normally always off unless I need to take water out of the spa.
