Can a concrete pad support AGP?

A bit more detail is that the level is off by about 2ft at its worst point. I got about 3 quotes to do ground leveling and compacting and was told a small retaining wall would be needed as well. All the quotes came in at about $2k to $3500 which seemed like a lot to me. I am trying to have the...

Can a concrete pad support AGP?

I have looked everywhere and haven't been able to find anything, but I am looking to put up an above ground pool (intex ultra XTR 12x24). My question is that I don't want to level the dirt in the area but would rather have a concrete pad poured level to sit the pool on with some padding...

    Leveling Intex pool on concrete

Question, I have an area that is 2ft sloped out of level and this is where I want to put my AGP. My plan is to dig down the high side and move the dirt to the low side as I dig and compact them level (adding the high side dirt to the low side) and using a plate compactor as I go. My question...

    18ft X 9ft X 52in Ultra XTR Frame Rectangular Pool

Probably since plants were closed for a while in places like China and over the world where parts are manufactured. Also with flight restrictions that took place I think it all had an impact. While things will hopefully normalize my belief is that it will delay product inventory which might make...

    18ft X 9ft X 52in Ultra XTR Frame Rectangular Pool

It's not crazy it's the times. With pools inevitably closed for the summer and families being home (no vacations travel amusement parks etc) pools naturally will be harder to find and unfortunately people will price gouge because of this... my guess

Didnt think about electricity in my pool plan?

Thanks for that and I'll do just that and report back. This place is really awesome because I was on the verge of giving up and couldn't push forward without all of you. Thanks everyone and I hope that this helps someone else too.

Didnt think about electricity in my pool plan?

So I think I have a solution to my problem which I will update if it works and is a good idea. I saw a video which could work in my situation where basically I would make and outdoor extension cord that is UG rated to a new receptacle near the pool. Since I have an outdoor outlet on my house to...

Didnt think about electricity in my pool plan?

After watching some videos and reading the material(couldn't even find NEC code 680 in the free NEC codes) I feel like throwing the whole pool away and it's not even opened out of the box. This is definitely way to much. I figured getting an above ground pool would be easy and inexpensive. I...

Okay so this is my first post and I have to be honest I'm already overwhelmed and rethinking settings up my pool.. So far I have purchased a few materials needed including the pool, pump/filter, skimmer, cleaning equipment. I have gotten local permits to level the ground and for the placement...

Okay thanks that makes sense. I will do the same and thanks for the great write up! I rather not cut the butterfly gasket also.

Installing Hayward SP1091LX without cutting gasket

I am going to attempt this and I probably should start a new thread but I looked and couldn't find a consensus but is this Hayward Skimmer install best done when the pool is full (2" below the skimmer) or can it be done completely empty as well? Not sure if stretching would occur if done while...

Intex 18ft X 9ft X 52in Ultra XTR Rectangular Pool placed on top of the pawers

Did the waterproof underlayment make that much of a difference even with the 2nd intex tarp over it? Just want to make sure because it's an additional $175-195 in cost. TIA!

Newb installing first above ground intex pool.

Thanks for your reply. I am getting my pool delivered soon but based on all the learning and accessories needed to make it last longer and more enjoyable I think I will wait until next year to put it up. It's all intimidating so I'll use the inflatable pool this season

Newb installing first above ground intex pool.

What are the foam boards under the pool used for? I see a lot of people saying to do this but didnt want to assume why. My guess was for cushioning under foot and possibly to help keep the pool warmer from cold ground contact?
