Tested again and got FC 12 cc 1.5 Cya 40

Just got home and tested. FC is 12, CC is 2.5

They are the same. Both made by maytronics

This morning's test was much better. FC was 9.5 and so I only had to add 90oz of chlorine before heading to work.

Oh no I trust the process, just trying to understand how I have been maintaining a FC of 4 day after day by adding 107oz of LC. But once I add 2.5 gallons it goes away. Then again that was with the dpd test

How long should I wait in between drops. The CC test was 2 drops to clear but after 20 seconds or so a pink tint came back. So I added a 3rd.

If your robot isn't that old and it decent shape, fix it. Bit if your cord is not great and the unit is showing wear from use maybe it's time. I have lots of good used parts if you need anything

From what I have learned they go through a self test when you power them on, if something fails it shuts down. Visually you will see the robot move forward, backwards, forward again, then shut down. This is usually caused by hair and Crud wrapped around that impeller. But like you said you...

Last night 5/11 and this morning 5/12 were FC 4, TC 5.

Not yet. Eventually someone will need something. Pool store gave me 7 units. I fixed all but these 2. I kept the best one, gave two to family and two back to the pool store owner. I probably have enough parts to make another working robot.
