I’d they add CYA, why not use trichlor tablets, which are more readily available?

Finding the dichlor tabs is proving a challenge and that’s part of the recipe when going out of town. Otherwise I do intend to follow Nitro’s regime for a chlorine hot tub.

I’ve heard putting bromine tub near chlorine pool is not a good idea. We have 3 kids and certainly people will go back and forth between the two. It’s what kids will do- even if it’s just for the jets of the tub. Is it true it’s not a good idea? I intend to use TFP method of bleach for pool.
