    Muddy Water

Thank you, I’m just getting a little frustrated with the lack of progress. This makes day three with the pump running 24/7 with little to no progress. In the last 24 hours I’ve added over 7 gallons of 10.5% LC. I can still only see the first step. I’m hoping my test kit will be here any day, but...

    Muddy Water

While waiting for my test kit, I decided to put in a cotton shirt in the skimmer and within an hour it was completely brown. I’m assuming this means I added a lot of iron to the pool from my well. As I understand, the SLAM level will help the iron “separate” from the water where it can be...

    Muddy Water

Starting up my 11k IG fiberglass pool and am dealing with some pretty muddy water. During the backfilling some dirt was dumped into the pool which has led to muddy water. I’ve been running the filter 24/7 except for last night when I turned it off hoping that some of the dirt would settle. I...

Thank you. Has anyone contacted Clorox regarding this known staining issue?

Stain from adding pool salt. How to get rid of it?

I, too, have suffered brown staining from the use of Clorox salt. The Vitamin C test was conclusive, however, due to the amount of staining, it would be extremely difficult to remove with tablets alone. Is there a more broadly-based remedy? PCB Error

Is this a symptom of a bad thermistor/limiter?

    PCB Error

Been getting a PCB error message on my Aquarite SWG. It appears to happen after a full cycle of chlorine generation. I’’ve read varying solutions, including replacing the limiter. Any thoughts?

Have you checked the ball bearings? This sounds like a good indicator of failing bearings.

Thanks, all. The black is from the paint on the metal chairs that blew into the pool during a storm.

I had some chairs blow into my white plaster pool, which left black marks on the plaster. Any recommendation for removing them?

    Chlorine Consumption

Thanks for the quick reply. Guess I can throw in a few tabs in my chlorinator to gradually raise CYA. On average, how many PPM of CYA is added by a typical 3" tablet? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Chlorine Consumption

I'm averaging about 3-4ppm of chlorine consumption, daily. I live in sunny Florida with daytime temps reaching 95+ with no shade. I'm a new pool owner and have used the BBB method from the beginning. My pool (15000 gal) is plaster without SWG. My water is crystal clear and I'm losing ~1ppm with...
