OK, thank you for the suggestion! I have a major algae problem at the moment & am about to perform the SLAM method. Starting with the correct gallons sounds important ;)

EDITED as I found a paper from the original build in 1989! Please help me figure out how many gallons this amoeba-shaped "sports" pool is! Length: 35 ft Width at widest part: 15.5 ft Shallow on both ends: 3.5 ft Deep end in the middle: 6 ft Using online calculations, I *think* it's 12,500...

I should've joined many moons ago as this pool is killing me! I'm excited to finally be here as I'm taking care of my folks' older pool - which has been neglected to say the least. Incoming post asking for help with algae issue........... in 3, 2, 1...... :)
