Well I couldn't get the heater out of bypass mode. I think the keypad must be the problem guess I will replace that and the display board as a starting point

I also followed the troubleshooting guide by checking low voltage fault, checking for defective transformer (disconnect P4 and measured 24v across pins 1 &2). Also checked low and high voltage output from Fuse board on P5 connector. All checked out okay.

Well after getting the 9300 back (they replaced the o'ring) I put it in the pool and the #2 cycle works. #1 does not. So it looks like I'll just keep using it like this until it dies and then invest in the Dolphin.
