Had luminescent green pool after being out of town a while. Used 5 gallon chlorine, within 48 hrs no longer green but still cloudy. Fc 20, CYA 40, TA 110, Ca hardness 300. Florida 88 degrees. Should I add more Chlorine ?

Was doing my own but last several months not able. Pool was not taken care of. Will add CYA, Chlorine and clean alot. Retest and go from there?

Had pool tested, very bad and needs loads of stuff per Leslie. Any suggestion how to attack.

Had originally Kool deck, was painted over few times. Pressure cleaning takes some paint off. Would really like product over this that lasts, looks nice and not hot. Any suggestions?

Yes CYA is LOW, so now want to raise it. Can I use pucks I still have to increase balancer at this point. FC 2.2, CC 0, PH 7.6, TA 70

Saw black dot all the way. Is it possible that the chemical is old and not useable any longer?

Had fiberglass pool resurfaced and filled with regular city water. CYA is over 100. I did not use pucks, no stabilizer added, waht happened? How do I fix, refill again?.... Thanks

Have Fibretech pool for about 10 years. Last year had rep at house due to trouble with the gelcoat disappearing? Looks like areas that it was fiberglass mat (same shape) disappearing, making it rough and algea to stick to it easily. Rep (of course) told me it was due to chemicals not correct...

Does anyone know if there is a product you can add to the water to give fiberglass pool a permanent 'color' instead of just white. Would like it to be blueish. Will the dye just be cleaned by Chlorine

Yes, now I do. Used trichlor pucks always due to ignorance, now I know better. My Pinch&Penny guy told me most people use puc s in summer but not during cooler months as to not increase CYA. He actually seems to know his stuff after talking to him. I am learning daily things I should have known...
