I popped that plate down now the psi is great and it seems to be filtering way more efficiently. The water is actually getting sucked in now. I’m such a noob:laughblue:

First one is the skimmer furthest away from pool pump. Second is the one closest to pool pump/deep end skimmer. I popped it down and have ran a water house to it until I figure out the issue so it doesn’t get air in system. So far the psi is normal.

So the far skimmer baskets is full. It’s the one closest to the pump housing that’s always quick to empty and then it sucks air until it forcefully fills back up.

So normally my psi floats at around 10-12. Today, it’s dropping down to 0 almost and then fluctuating back up. Any idea wha the issue could be? My skimmer flap closest to the filter/pump is always in the up position. Shouldn’t it be down? I’ve never really thought about it until now

Morning check, FC holding at 20. Pool still looks light blue in the shallow end and sea foam green in the deep end. I added some de, brushed. And will check in 45 minutes to backwash and replace de. Guess this is the name of the game for the next few days. On the bright side, I actually can...

Pinch-a-penny has a seemingly neat Liquid Chlorine program that they sell. They fill it onsite. I wish I had one closer

So I’ve maintained a FC reading of 20 all day. I added a bit of DE in reference with the forum. The pressure went up to 23 and I’m going to backwash and repeat. Is it safe to add some before night time in case the pressure gets too high over night? I don’t want my filter to explode or anything 🤦🏽‍♂️

I figured. It’s also very cloudy and windy today too.

Side note: which vac head should I be using for vacuuming. The house came with the black one. And these three bolts, I suppose they’re for a diving board? Anyway to figure out which model it fits

So surprisingly, I passed the OCLT. CC-0 FC-23 It’s still very cloudy.

I’m going to add LC and brush a bit. Won’t be able to vaccum due to lightning 🙁

FC -14 CC-1 There’s been a spike in CC. Is this normal? It’s been raining since last night.

Should I view that Adding DE to the filter thread?

Lost a total of 4 FC overnight. FC -16 CC-0 It’s still cloudy and can’t see the bottom. Its worth noting though that depth is starting to become more visual. It’s blue on the shallow end, almost a sea foam tint on the deep end.

So it’s 1800. Closing out the day just finished my brush/vaccum/brush session. I tested after. FC was at 15 so I adjusted to get back to 20. Will leave it overnight and check it first thing in the AM. Of course, I am filling it back up with the hose to replace water lost.

Still floating at a FC reading of 20. CC at 0. Should I go ahead and brush/vaccum to waste like it says on the SLAM page?

I posted this on the wrong form, I am going to follow the SLAM method to fix an issue with the pool.

The backyard also has a pretty high water table. Currently I have 25 gallons of liquid chlorine on standby.
