Okay perfect. The loss isn’t quite that high. I have been measuring this and it’s been around 1-2.

So at the level of 24 for CYA of 60, how much liquid should I place in at once? That’s 2 gallons and 3 cups of chlorine. Should I do this over a few hours or two days? I couldn’t find the maximum amount to put in in one day in the book.

I would be also shocking the pool with liquid prior to the adding of the two pucks so I can keep the FC on the higher end so when the daily loss occurs the pucks are adding it back in.

I read the entire book. I didn’t see anything (page number if you have it) about PH rise after introduction of liquid chlorine. It does state it’s pure and loses its power over time and to UV and organic but I didn’t read the other part.

Alright well that is new info on the PH rise for me. I always thought it was just an after effect of using liquid versus tabs (where tabs are acidic) and after mixed in the pool you would need to add acid to lower. Well that makes my life much easier then. Thank you. I’ll just add my chlorine...
