Recent Test Results

Did my normal Sunday test yesterday and here were my results:

FC 4.8
CC 0
PH 7.8
TA 60/70 range color was hard to tell this time
CH 300
CYA 60
Temp 85

So my question is, in the event when I retest today the TA, and it is 60. Should I raise it using baking soda or let it be? If i should raise it would 80 or 90 be better?

I would change is the FC. Its a tad low for that CYA level.
See --> FC/CYA Levels

Then I'd input your numbers in to PoolMath and see how your CSI looks? Have you done that before??

I just did the numbers and your CSI is 0.04. That's a pretty nice number!

Yeah that number was prior to the addition of the FC for the day so we’re set there. Just wanted to confirm the TA. When running the CSI on the app it does indeed look good however I thought over time if I should align it with the recommended level of 70-90.

No I’m Going to do that today as we have an automatic filler and drain built into the pool so I have meant to add that to my notes

To save regents is there certain tests I don’t need to do with the TF 100 on the fill water?

Skip CYA test since tap water contains zero CYA. No need for FC or CC on tap water.
