    I have just started the AA treatment and it's working as some is visibily clean The only problem I see is that where I have poured the AA along the sides is it is cleaning in streaks and leaving some stain still there especially at the top Will this dissipate overnight as the water mixes more...

    The ascorbic acid works a treat. I rubbed the stains and the stain quickly disappeared The PH down worked as well but not as fast as the ascorbic acid. What is the next step as most of the staining is on the side?

    I poured a lot of sodium hypochlorite 13-15% into the skimmer weir and left overnight with the pump off. There was no difference to the staining. It wasn't even soft to scrape or brush off. The Test kit could take 3 weeks to get here

    Check your "O" ring on the pump filter basket. You may have to lubricate it with silicone grease or vaseline to get a good seal I had exactly the same problem with a new Onga pump it circulates OK but when you put an extra load via the vacuum it sucks in air Try this before replacing anything
