The lighting is horrible and makes everything look dingy but I'm going to work and can't wait until the "golden hour". I'll take better shots tomorrow when the lighting is right. This will give you an idea of the pool layout

I was planning on the blue but there wasn't any in stock and I also wanted to match the silicone for the expansion joint above the tile with the same color grout and they had delorean the other would have been a special order so the stock options made the decision for us. Here is the delorean gray. We still need to buff off the grout haze but I think it's about the same tone as the tile and doesn't make it look like a checkerboard. I like it. I'm really happy with how it turned out

Good to know. I'm already nervous it'll be too dark. I'm sure once it's all done it won't be that big of a deal though

I am. I can't believe how beautiful the color changes are with the sun. It's going to be incredible once the plastic facing is off

It's has the plastic facing and is still so shiny. Mike picked Delorean gray for grout and I wanted something halfway between that and plantinum. We ended up with delorean. I'm worried it might be too dark...I'll post pics once it's done

It's lame how large of a footing is required for a 6' tall block wall. It's an "L" type footing that is 1' deep by 3' wide with #4 rebar [emoji1304]

Mike got the first course of the sound wall in on top of the wet mud. He'll go back and work on it some more after we get a littler further on the French drains and deck prep work.

Some friends came over to help us pour the slab in the sunken bar. We added some Davis color packs to make the concrete dark gray like the coping.
