Vegas OB! Just got plans back and need some feedback (pics included :) )

I have a feeling he's just letting her go so far into taking credit that when he finally tells her he made it darker she'll have to concede to his great taste [emoji23]

No marks. It was found in a lowes bag in the backyard. My guess is one of the twins put it there

Mike lost the edger tool at some point after the countertop - he's says our dog stole it. Either way the edges are a little rough but it'll all be hidden behind a wall anyways so oh well.

Today we poured the equipment pad and some planter borders and set the first course of 5 steps that lead out of the sunken bar. The borders will be hidden under the composite decking but we needed something to support the decking and keep the gravel underneath it from going into the planters.

    New Pool Build Los Angeles

lol I knew his name was either Vinnie or Vito [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] I'm glad he helped you out! Ours was plastic facing and didn't look any harder to install than the mesh. Plus it's better in the long run. $75 is absurd.

I'd negotiate that if you find a tile you like. Most wholesalers can't even buy it for that cheap.

Just saw this thread. We bought our tile in person @ tileclearance.com they are located in Chatsworth. The owners name is Vinnie and he gave us a great deal - just $1 over his wholesale price. He has way more stuff in his store than what's online and can get most tiles. Not sure what you worked...

Yes. We're weird. It works great for small things like the countertops or post footings but the slabs we get trailers from the building supply or truck loads

We've talked about wrought iron or something to make the transition not so stark on that tall wall vs the lower part we just haven't gotten there yet mentally. Lol sooo many other projects on the horizon before we make it to that

I know. I'm thinking of horizontal plank boards just over the cmu portion but not the slumpstone and jasmine here and there to soften it up. Behind the bar top will be reclaimed wood planking with an industrial vibe to give a more edgy feel to all the bling we have going on.

This is where the deck and new patio cover will go. There also be a patio cover over the sunken bar extending over the swim up barstools and a sheet water fall coming out of the eave over the barstools into the pool.
