Does anybody have a clue about Waterway's part 400-6700? It is listed as an accessory on their smaller pumps as Intex fitting adapter.

Has anyone figured exactly how many GPM the Intex plunger valves and large hoses will flow. I can't take anymore of this swapping and cleaning filters every 2 days.

No sand filter, just the junker stock 2500gpm (250gpm more like) filter pump. The knee high trick looks like it made a noticeable difference.

Can you use 2" pipe on the Metric or do you have to use 1.5"?

On the Pool School here and various other sites the DE filter is always listed as 3-5 micron, cartridge filters are usually between 5-15 and then sand coming in even higher particle size. Since these numbers seem fairly consistent no matter where you look, just where did these results come from...

I looked at the Purifiber website and it seemed like this product is for DE replacement. How are you using it with a cartridge filter?

I noticed this same 30 micron rating on Pentair cartidge filters and am confused. In reading the Pool School here and on other websites that have their versions of it, all seem to say that cartidge filters filter in the 10-15 micron range. Why is Pentair saying 30?
