I have been in two spas now that are level-yes, the cold water got it--looks amazing though. Who is your PB? Ive seen some designs where the spa was just about 3 inches higher.

I agree--but if you do it, I would go with the larger mini pool--also to really make it decorative and not just a baby pool, put in smooth river rocks on the bottom instead of the regular pool finish. I would probably just ditch it though.

Kim!! OMG I just went out and measured--AND its not deep enough :( I just called PB who is supposed to come out today--I suppose this means no steel tomorrow. So glad I followed your advice. I am super annoyed--I hope this isnt a sign of things to come. . . .

We are doing the Tahoe blue with extra black- Do you have a baja shelf or anything shallow? I like the midnight blue but not how it looks in the shallow areas. Try a sample at different depths if you can, also go see pools with those finishes your PB did if possible.

Its pretty rocky/clay like--not soft at all--but definitely dry as we are in So Cal and it is 100+ temps with very little humidity this week. from the looks of it they have to make several passes at it and pile it up before trucking out.

we opted for 9 inches which is the cheapest you can go with the regular Ledge Loungers.
