If you can find the liner "which I doubt" it will cost nearly as much as a new Intex pool. Sorry.

    Water Scale

Question Recently finished a slam on the pool, check my sig below for specs. The water is clear, but if you run your hand under the waterline and over the walls of the pool there is some sort of scaly white substance on the pool walls, it feels rough to the touch and when it flakes off it...

    intex 22x52 ground prep question

Level Level Level- This will be the hardest task. The gorilla pad is not for comfort, it is to prevent rocks-grass etc from coming up under the pool. I have one under mine. The pink foam is for comfort. I used crusher run with fines for my base, once in and compacted it is like concrete and...

Helping a friend who has opened to algae...

Get as much of the **** out of the pool as you can, you will need less bleach that way. It is my understanding that the algae will hide under the debris making it harder for the bleach to get in there and kill it. I cleaned mine as best I could "not being able to see the bottom" and once the...

Full week of slamming and not much progress Pics included.

It takes time for the filter to clean the water, mine is still a little cloudy, remember how long it took to get this way, it will take some time to clear.

My Old Intex vs New Polygroup Pro Pool

Slide the end of the Intex hoses over the return jet and skimmer on the pool and use a hose clamp, they fit just right. Dont use the screw on part at the pool. Those are only used to connect to the filter, you can let the grey couplers slide down the hose where they connect to the pool.

To Foam or Sand new install

This is what I did, I am sure some would still say to use sand, but it is your choice. I like the crusher and the feel of the foam under foot.

FC 5 CC less than .5 Water-Crystal Clear All told it took about two weeks and lots of bleach, but it was worth the work, I have sparkly clear water. Now what do I do...It is still too cold to swim :(

To Foam or Sand new install

I would skip the sand, use crusher run as your base and to level all the poles. Then lay down the foam, tape the seams, tarp on top of that and setup the pool.

    New Polygroup/Summer Escapes/Pro Series 14' build - PICS ADDED

Polygroup is NOT an Intex pool, they are different companies. And yes you will not be happy with that pump, but it should last the season, then you can look into getting perhaps a sand filter or something along those lines. I have the same pool and have been very happy with it. Just make sure...

Good news this AM I can now see the liner at the bottom of the pool, still awful cloudy but getting better every day, having to add less and less bleach every day to keep it at 10. I modified my SLAM value when I tested the CYA it was only 20, so I lowered the SLAM level and will deal with CYA...

    New Pool Build Questions

When using the pavers I would recommend digging down and then putting some crusher run or crushed limestone under the pavers. Wet the crusher run and compact well, place your paver on the compacted crusher run, and level it with the rest of the foundation. This should keep the pavers from...
