    K-2005 replacement reagents

    folks, I need to buy refills for my k-2005 kit. Checked Tftestkits.com but they don't have refills for K-2005. Can I use K-2006 refills? I need R-0001, R-0002, R-0004, R0009, R0012. Thanks

    Jandy i-aqualink

That's good news. And that means that the Zodiac tech that I was talking didn't know what he was talking about (big surprise there!). I will try to set mine back to b/g/n and will see if that causes an issue. Like I said not that huge of deal for me since I have multiple AP's. I wonder if this...

    Jandy i-aqualink

No problem! Glad my review is useful. Also, to r1100ron's point as far as wifi portion of the setup goes, I can certainly expect that good 85% of the people will have zero issues with it just like he didn't have any, as like I mentioned if you run a standard wifi setup with standard dhcp, you...

    Less then a year Jandy 2hp e-pump - dead.

Thanks for the feedback Jason. My sprinklers are not not near where the equipment is thought we did have had some heavy rains, but like you said that shouldn't happen anyway with a good seal. I'm planning to build a roof over the equipment pad in the future that should be able to keep everything...

    Jandy i-aqualink

I got the I-aqualink installed this week and I thought i'd post up some thoughts on the product as well some DYI tips. Please pay in mind that these are my thoughts and assumptions, made by doing my own research and of my current understanding of this product, i'm neither an iqualink vendor, or...

    Less then a year Jandy 2hp e-pump - dead.

As the title says. happened on Saturday, Pump tries to start, then dies. I thought maybe something got stuck on the impaler, so took the dry side off - nothing, but the impaler is difficult to turn and makes a screeching noise. My pool tech came up. looked at it. and confirmed what I've thought...

    sheer descent arch options

Yes, mine is similar, I have rings sewn into the cover. Then there's still cable that goes through the rings and gets hooked on to the hooks, the cable is tensioned onto the deck anchors on both sides. Works very well and it keeps the cover tight against the wall. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    landscaping behind pool

Pines are ****. They will continue thinning out at the bottom. They're also brittle and will start shedding more then just needles onto your pool as they age. I have pines on one side of my house and cannot stand them, will probably end up cutting them all down and replacing. On the other hand I...

    They laughed

Exactly why I'm opening this Thursday as well. Last week dumped couple gallons of liquid shock in just in case. The water looks great as well, just leafs and some debris that will need vacuuming as the winter cover was not on tight enough :(

    sheer descent arch options

folks does anyone have experience with Pool Aquatics sheer descends? I'm considering getting a 60" version. http://www.ebay.com/itm/261138119123?var=560209112289&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

    sheer descent arch options

Great to know thanks for the feedback folks. Btw, his is what I have to work with (you can't see because of the cover, but there's also a foot of coping in front of the wall). The choice I need to make is to either pop off the caps and I install sheers right under the caps, or built up and...

    sheer descent arch options

Thanks, good points. And looks like, after looking at the instructions from the links above, I may have another problem... Looks like sheer descents aren't going to work for me as the maximum install height should be no more then 3' for a sheer descent, and my height will be ~4.5'. Rainfall type...

    sheer descent arch options

Thank you James, I will check this out. Unfortunately I cannot move them closer as the wall was built right outside of the coping so it's one foot away. I suppose some kind of a lip/spillway can be constructed, but I'd rather not do that. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    sheer descent arch options

Hi all, I planning to add the water feature this year and pretty much settled on the sheer descend type of waterfall as I have a wall that's coming up within one foot of the pool on one side. My trouble is, I can't figure out which sheer descend I need that will produce an appropriate arch to go...

    Jandy plc1400 vs plc700

Hi folks, So I'm planning to add SWCG to our pool this spring, we have all Jandy equipment and as I'm looking at the aqua pure plc1400, I also see they have a plc700 kit, the only difference I see is 7 vs 14 blades respectively, but I really don't understand what that means, as I don't see any...

Need an advise from those with auto cover

Thanks. I spoke with the builder again as well as the company who installed the cover and they're both swearing that this is not an issue and the space between the tile and rail always left like this and not causing issues because the gaps are just too small for to much water to get in... i'm...

    My planned solar layout

Looks great! Would you mind posting the pics of the plumbing at the equipment end? Also, if there's no dedicated return to the pool to use, is it ok to plumb one of the existing returns with a return from the solar? Oh yea and did you end up painting the piping on the roof or you can buy piping...

    Diamondbrite vs regular plaster

So we did ended up doing the Diamond Brite (perl) finish. Turned out beautiful. But it is most definitely a much more abrasive finish then then just the regular plaster. Overall, we're very happy with the finish.
