From what I have read...they are flying ants...I guess they have "flying ant day" where all the flying ants come out of the ground and swarm to mate with the queens....the male die after mating ....the queens fall to the ground and go back to hives....typically happens after a few days of rain...

I spent the day going over and over my pool, cleaning out bugs........seemed I would go around the pool and look back, and there were tons more. Had to hose down all the walls because there were tons of them stuck to the walls above the water line. A pic of the whole pool did not come out but...

So I live in Northwest IN and we have had a spell of cooler weather and lots of rain. TOday we got some warm weather back and all seemed fine. Me and the hubby went for a walk in the later afternoon, and afterwards sat down before dinner to rest. Got up to get dinner around 5:45 and happened...

We had a dead baby bird so far this year and some spiders and bees.........I don't think I could handle anything bigger than that......lol

Yes, wheels would be easy enough to add to be able to move around more easily, and yes with the simple design, you could simply double the size.

We have been surprised also how pricey loungers can be.............I like the simplicity of of those and can dress it up with some cushions......will look forward to seeing how yours comes out. My hubby might be building me some new loungers soon!

So far this year I have only had to add stablizer and bleach........with the high temps here near Chicago, I add about a gallon of bleach to my 18000 gallon pool a day....... Good Luck with your pool..........we love to see pics !

I have found it so rewarding taking control of my pool.

The vitamin C tablet worked wonders on the stain. My husband was amazed how great it looks now. And he went out and got a stainless steel screw. Thanks so much for the tip. Dee
