We just recently installed a gas heater. I teach swim lessons to infants and toddlers in the evenings and the ideal temp is 90. So, I'm wondering if it is more cost efficient to leave the heater running or turn it off every day and make it work harder to get to 90. We are in Texas so right now...

The for the info. Leslie's tried to sell me a product to keep our phosphate number down after taking in a water sample. We were at 1000 ppm. Our water looks great and chlorine level fine but they wanted us to purchase a phosphate reducer. The for the info. We do not have any algae issues

What exactly do phosphates do to pool water? What level is acceptable? What level is too high?

Anyone having issues with the moble app or web site trying to log on? Our moble app is saying "Off Line" and not able to get to control the pool as we choose (lights,water features ect..) Tried to go the the web site and log on and it is not taking?

Good info!! Since on the subject of warranty, my builder offers what is called a Lifetime protection plan. The first year is included with the building of the pool and then you can purchase it or renew it yearly for 550.00 per year. Now in this plan it covers ALL PARTS AND LABOR for 100% off...

I do have a question.....you guys say that household bleach is just as good to put in the pool but that does have additives in it that the pool store liquid chlorine does not have and do not want to void any type of warranty for the pool ect.

By using the word "harp" simply means to drill or pound into ones belief is all. Has not a thing to do with resistance. If I was resisting I would not be on this site or for that matter ask the questions I have been asking. Again as stated before sevearl times, you guys are GREAT

Totally agree on getting different kit and will do that. It's been6days since the pool was filled and should be going to the Pool store this weekend to get new kit that will show cya along with the other readings.

The kit given has chlorine, ph , alkalinity and acid demand. This kit shows the colors that should be and the range you should be at, no cya . So then I would not know what my desired level of chlorine would be but as long as the color shade says I am good then chlorine level is good

Dave the kit that was given to me via the builder is a simple test kit which does not show cya. it is a kit that tests the basic chlorine, ph, alk and acid demand. but chlorine levels should be in the 2-3 ppm if i am correct. Again they just started up the pool last week so I am sure the...

Nooooo the standard warranties apply from the builder just like all builders have.....keith zars here in SA offer what is called a life time protection plan that covers all parts and labor every year you extend the warranty for ANYTHING on the pool and equipment that goes wrong...

that is why i ask that question. the nice thing this is not a 3rd party warranty it is straight from the builder which has a TREMENDOUS reputation here in SA TX and south tx....anyone have info on this out there?
