That looks like it. It runs about 18psi (I think) but when its shuttering like that you really cant get a reading the needle is going back and forth.

Yes the pressure gauge jumps along with the rest of the piping when the motor does that. I might try a capacitor.

Lost 3 FC last night so still slamming.

Tried that. Removed the o ring, cleaned the channel and relubed. Also tried a comparable AND one size over o ring. No effect. Must be cracked or damaged inside that I cannot see. The valve is under 20 bucks so I went ahead and ordered a new one.

It just started. It kind of skips a few times. You can hear it and see the shock in the piping. It only does it when primed not after emptying the strainer. Capacitor or is my motor on the way out? The capacitor looks shiny and new but it was here when I bought the house.
