In central IL my peak loss was 3-5 depending on swimmer load. Last week my demand was .5-1 depending on swimmer load. We had one diehard taking the plunge in mid-60 water.

What’s your CYA? At this time of year 3-5ppm loss seems excessive.

Take the 25ml vial and fill to 10ml for the salt test. Many of us fell victim to filling it to 25ml at one time or another.

As @PoolStored noted there’s no special time. I just try to be consistent with time so I can better understand what my pool is doing during a 24 hour window.

Chemistry is all in shape and will cover this weekend. OCLT passed several times within the last week. Water temp this morning was 64, so close enough. Will take FC to SLAM for the close. FC 9 CC 0 CYA 60 TA 80 PH 7.7

I brushed today and continuing to allow FC to fall below 10 so I can check the pH. It’s been 4 days with no SWCG run time. Hopefully tomorrow is the day so I can wrap up the close.

FC should be at SLAM level if not using polyquat.
