I believe I found where the heater plug goes. I don’t know why my heater isn’t listed. It’s in my profile list. Pentair mastertemp 250

Also. Plug on the bottom of the main filter chamber. How tight does this need to go? It’s plastic. Worried about over tightening it.

Wow. Awesome. Also. Opened up the filter to clean a bit today. Found some more plugs in the pre filter. And I don’t remember if the cone shaped thing was in the main filter chamber before. Any ideas here?

Do they put antifreeze in the lines when they close? Do I need to suck that out before I open everything up?

Stuff in the basket is just stuff for the fountains. I know about that stuff. It’s mostly the machinery that I’m concerned about. I also need to find the instructions for the equipment.

Ok. Starting to really get in the zone here to do this. Going to give the cover a good clean in the next week or so. Then scope out the opening. Here is a pic of the stuff that got removed at closing. I understand the returns and the fountain caps. Not sure where the large black and white cap or...

build a bench to go over coverstar machinery?

Yes. Like that or similar. Is there a preferred material? I thought about the weight and heat as well. All day sun here.

build a bench to go over coverstar machinery?

Hey all, we had a coverstar cover installed a couple years ago. The instal was supposed to include a nice bench to cover the equipment, but the contractor stole our money and left us with the exposed spool and motor. Anyone know of a good place to call to have one of these made? seems like...

Hold my hand, I'd like to open the pool myself.

Hello all, first, Yes, I have read the "opening your pool" guide. I joined up here during the last part of the pool season 2022. I've been using the knowledge here to keep the pool since. Our pool came with the house when we moved in right before the pandemic. Since then, I have paid a...

    Local opening and closing services?

beautiful pool came with the house we moved into about 3 years ago. I have been having the people from the local pool store open and close my pool because we were not pool people. I'm still not comfortable opening and closing on my own, but I know I'm paying way too much for the service...

Cya/FC level in covered swg pool?

Nice. I had really low cya when I arrived here. I’ve got maybe around 30 now. Been working to balance the pool over the last week or so to tfp recommended levels. I’ve lowered the ta to about 90 and got the ph back at about 7.8 from Fountain use overnight. Unfortunately the pool is warmer then...

Cya/FC level in covered swg pool?

I just added cya this week. It’s about 30 currently I think. My ph and calcium are a bit high overall. Was trying to lower ta a bit to see if the ph stays a little lower for a longer period. Read that in the pool school area. And pool math says my ta is high.
