They are probably jam packed with work as is every business out there right now.. with less people working and more people buying things they are just behind in everything... call around and get 5 quotes for the same exact pool that you want and hopefully you get back 2 or 3... :)

Welcome to TFP :) The short answer that they are not stating is because of bonding and grounding.. All Intex style pools do not require a bonding structure on them because of the type of pumps they use... Take this electrical connection manual for the aquacal heat pump...

I have a SWG and keep my FC at 7 to 8 at all times and my CYA is at 80... With your CYA at 60 it can be harder on your SWG/FC and the FC can dip lower.. I would bring your CYA to 80 and keep FC at 7 to 8 and you should be great... I had the same exact thing happen 2 times with my pool, both...

The great thing is tile is a perfect DIY project.. You see the times it takes to do tile and it really is easy doing a little at a time.. About the only problem being the spa would have to be empty the whole time you are doing the project.. :)

I would set 2 to 4 schedules.. 9 am and 9 pm or do 4 and every 6 hours it will turn on :)

Welcome to TFP :) As you have seen not many on TFP have that model.. Have you contacted Polaris and asked what error 10 is? How old is it?

Aquacal are the gold standard for pool heat pumps... There 55 also pulls 2700 watts/2.7kw but they require a bigger 30 amp fuse saying the heater can pull up to 22.6 amps probably on start up... I would say you really need to go to a 30 amp fuse with wire to handle that size load...

Welcome to TFP :) Very interesting, I have not seen that pool before and did not know you could bury it completely, nice... You will want to use 57 stone to backfill once the pool is full of water.. That will allow you to pour concrete within a few days... :) Do not use dirt backfill...

I put a cup of dawn dish soap in my 15k gallon pool every spring and fall to kill water bugs.. A little soap in the water will not hurt anything and may help.. :)

From the manual it needs a 240v connection.. You would need to run its own 240V 20 amp circuit.. It will be using 2750 watts, 14 amps and a 240v 20 amp breaker can supply up to 4800 watts so you will be good to go.. :)
