Another SWG-curious pool owner...questions about brands, automation integration, etc

You can find the same system with different branding from various suppliers. Circupool offers the Universal series and InyoPools has the Purline series. Since the pandemic, the availability of these systems has been erratic...

    Cloudflare driving me nuts.

Same step up here, same problem with Cloudflare. A least I don't have to click on all the images with traffic lights anymore. Cloudflare doesn't seem to trust us Linux users. Using the User Agent Switcher and Manager extension set to Firefox / Windows 10 seems to eliminate the need to prove...

Can Anyone Recommend a CircuPool CORE-55? If So Why?!

The Core only has four power settings, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%, so you are going to have to adjust both run time and power level to dial it in. That would be a deal breaker for me.

A few comments on my RJ60+

I always wondered about the 180-minute cycle times until I found this thread from 2007 which had this explanation for long cycle times. Regarding your other comments; Changing the power level from 60% to 70% over 8 hours will only increase FC by 0.5 ppm, so I doubt you would notice the...

Which Circupool SWG to get for 15,000g AGP?

Did you read the manuals? Yes, the Universal has a salt reading. The last three years of the RJ's limited warranty isn't something I would use to make a purchasing decision.

Thinking about installing SWG this year, need help with choices

Before you pull the trigger on the SWG, you might want to consider the Inyopool Crystal Pure SWGs. They have a 60K option that is in line with your opening posts budget. The earlier reference comparison chart does have some good information, but there are a couple of things that should be...

RJ-60 vs PL7703 [potentially losing pool builder warranty]

I going into my fourth season with PL7703 and would buy again in a hart beat. Yes, you can set the power in 1% increments. One thing you forgot to compare is the cost per lbs of chlorine gas based on the total capacity of each cell. Note that this includes the cost of the controller/power...

If there is another breaker available then yes use one for the motor and the second for the SWG. No connnection to Pin 5. It's the normally closed pin. Even better, now you can shut off the power to the SWG without affecting the motor.

    current sensing relay help

Ok, here's how to wire your CSR. The diagram only shows one pass-through of the L1 line through the current sensing coil, but you are going to want to loop it through at least four times. With four loops, the current sense range is reduced to 0.5 to 5 amps. With a variable speed pump, you...

How much production run time is on it? The cell is rated for 7000 hr. I also have a Purline 60K system that I bought in February 2019. I run mine for 15 hours at 40% and it keeps my 30k pool CL right where I target it. My cya is usually between 60 and 80. The cell has somewhere between...
