We got our pool last year and didn't have any issues with chemicals. This year, I can't seem to keep chlorine above 0. I have brought samples in to the pool store a few times and added the chemicals suggested. Attached are the most recent numbers and the chemicals I added today, and the chlorine is back to 0.

Welcome to TFP.

You are working blind until you can do your own testing with your own test kit. Either the Taylor K-2006V or TFT Test Kits

Test Kits Compared

With FC low and pH low you may have an ammonia problem. Read Ammonia - Further Reading

You definitely have algae that is eating up your chlorine. For that we follow the SLAM Process

Stop listening to the pool store.

Order your test kit.

While waiting for the test kit add 2 gallons of 10% liquid chlorine daily.

Once you get your test kit, post your test results here, and we can discuss the next steps.
