This post is just for kicks and gossip. An in-law's relative is getting married today (Monday discount) and had her wedding rehearsal yesterday. The ceremony venue is adjacent to this hot tub, which, yesterday at 6pm was still in its off-season state (see photo, central Ohio location). The wedding planner promised that it would look great by this afternoon. Any bets?

To clarify: I'm not at this wedding, but I'm on a family text chain. Also, that's not the groom. That's a relative who didn't have anything to do during the rehearsal, so he sent me this.

With a good scrubbing it'll sparkle so long as the fill water is clean. It'd sure be something if the town chose now to flush their hydrants like mine did the other day. :laughblue:

Oh jeez! That is awful! I'm waiting for the update later today. I mean, it doesn't, have to be swimmable, so it's possible. I don't have a spa, so I really don't know how this will go. A lot depends on the venue's motivation, although, it's been warm enough to be using this.

I could have that looking great in about 3 hours. Chems would be way off and the water would not be close to hot, but it sure would look good.

Ugh, this happened to me last weekend. I drained, cleaned, and started refilling my hot tub. I walked away to put things away, and my wife walked over to the tub and said "wow, it was really dirty, the water is all brown". Um, no, that is fresh water. Yeah, they were flushing hydrants. It was a nice tea colored hot tub. My filters got it clear in less time than it took to get it up to temp.
